Responsibilities

In collaboration with the Sales team, you will be responsible for processing all orders and compiling the documents required to bring the trailers into production. The person who occupies this position must follow up with customers up to the date of delivery.

Job description

Receive warranty requests, enter them into the ERP system, and follow up with customers and accounts payable;

Prepare delivery files and plan deliveries with customers (signing documents, taking photos, warranty, user manual, transit, NVIS, MTO related documentation);

Respond to administrative requests and everything related to the sales department (providing information and documents to customers, monitoring payments);

Follow up with customers to keep them informed of delivery dates or other relevant information;

Perform and send invoicing according to the stage of the project;

Support salesmen for quotes, prices and options;

Prepare files for production;

Ensure that procedures are followed (documents, deposit, transposing documents into the ERP system, etc.).

You have MS Office proficiency;

Apply primer and silicone to trailers;

Paint trailers with a gun;

Perform visual inspections during and after the different stages;

Ensure the supply and the good condition of the products;

Perform various finishing tasks of a trailer (reflective strips, floor, etc.);

Assemble electrical and pneumatic parts according to plans;

Perform all tasks required to finish a semi-trailer (installation of rims and tires, reflective strips, wooden floor, hydraulic items, aluminum floor, flip top, boxes, pickets, rubber mats; depending on the trailer model);

To be able to detect anomalies (troubles) whatever they may be;

Perform any other related duties that may fall within the scope of this position.

You know how to use a tape measure;

You have knowledge of pneumatics and electricity;

Read and interpret welding plans or instructions;

Know the gases and wires to be used in welding;

Make welding FCAW and GMAW, all positions;

Read welding symbols;

Use flame arresting devices, manual or semi-automatics;

Handle tools and metal parts of large dimensions;

Use metal forming machines, such as presses for straightening and other complementary tools to make parts.

You have a Welder designation or equivalent experience;
