Welder-assembler (Rimouski, St-Evariste)
Responsibilities
In collaboration with the department supervisor, in a healthy and respectful work environment, this position will carry out different tasks related to assembling trailers.
Job description
Read and interpret welding plans or instructions;
Know the gases and wires to be used in welding;
Make welding FCAW and GMAW, all positions;
Read welding symbols;
Use flame arresting devices, manual or semi-automatics;
Handle tools and metal parts of large dimensions;
Use metal forming machines, such as presses for straightening and other complementary tools to make parts.
Competencies and skills required
You have a Welder designation or equivalent experience;
You are comfortable reading and interpreting plans;
You know how to use a tape measure;
You have integrity and you care about a job well done;
You participate with the team to achieve a common goal;
You are autonomous, resourceful and skilled manually.
Wage and working conditions
A competitive salary according to your experience (up to $27.43/h)
A bonus of $0.75/h is added to your salary if you work on the evening shift;
A 4-day work schedule, from Monday to Thursday, which gives you 3-day weekends all year long;
